Education technology and Exceptional students
I learned that an exceptional is considered to be any child who requires special instruction or related services in order to make full advantage of or to respond to educational programs and opportunities because of a physical, mental, emotional, and social or learning disabilities.
Exceptional students can benefit from technology in the classrooms. The incorporation of technology will help in enhancing student’s level of motivation to learn.
Communities of practice
Communities of practice are formed by people who engage in a process of collective learning in a shared domain of human endeavor: a tribe learning to survive, a band of artists seeking new forms of expression, a group of engineers working on similar problems, a clique of pupils defining their identity in the school, a network of surgeons exploring novel techniques, a gathering of first-time managers helping each other cope.
